Description

The farm Agriturismo Le Pescine is situated approximately 3 km from the sea of the small seaside resort Vada on the Etruscan Coast in Tuscany, famous for the beautiful white sandy beaches. The farm is composed of about 40 hectares farmland, mainly cultivated with sunflowers, olive trees and wheat.
There are 14 well-cared and tastefully equipped holiday apartments avaialble, subdivided over three buildings that have been completely restored. At the guest's disposal a nice park with two enormous swimming pools (17 x 8 m and 13 x 7 m), 8 barbecues, children's playground, football/volleyball field.

Furthermore there is a laundry with washing machines, sufficient covered parking lots as well as bikes (free of charge), ideal to leave the car on the property and to reach the beach by bike. The huge ground is also ideal for walks or jogging. On the spot, a pracitcal drinks machine with fresh drinks as well as delicious espresso or Cappuccino.
The owners are every day on the spot to assist you and will be available to show you how to access the internet (free of charge). On request it is possible to make wine and olive oil tasting.

Only 3 km away the sea, with its white, large sandy beach, where it is possible to enjoy the well equipped bathing establishments or to make use of the public beach. Each kind of water sports can be practised, such as sailing, surfing and diving. In the surroundings there are also farms offering riding excursions and there is the possibility of playing tennis.
The coast between Vada and Castiglioncello was awarded already in 1998 with the European Blu Flag because of its good water and beach quality. Driving along the Etruscan Coast towards south it is worth visiting the Nature Oasis of Bolgheri - famous also for the wines, the Bolgheri DOC and in particular the Sassicaia or the Ornellaia - the pine woods of Cecina and Donoratico as well as the beautiful hills around Bibbona.

In the hinterland there are charming places such as Castagneto Carducci, Suvereto or Campiglia Marittima. Families with children can make their children happy with a visit of the nearby fun park or the water park. In the evening are inviting the restaurants in the area, with their delicious local cuisine from the sea and from the land, naturally accompanied by the local wines. Important places of historic and cultural interest such as Volterra, Pisa and Lucca can be reached in approximately 45 min. by car, whereas Florence, Siena and San Gimignano can be reached in about 1 h by car.
