The Rooms

Hotel Resort Antico Casale di Scansano is situated right outside the characteristic hilltop village Scansano, along the road leading to Saturnia, in Maremma Tuscany. The 4 star hotel has 32 rooms, equipped with all mods and cons such as private bathroom, minibar, soaps, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning. Rooms are tastefully furnished, in the typical Tuscan countrystyle with wrought iron beds, terracotta pavements and wooden furniture. Common ares and some rooms are suitable for wheelchair users. In the buildings there are different room types: 6 single rooms, 8 standard double rooms, 1 triple room, 13 double rooms with bathroom, 4 suites.

Single Room
The six single rooms are situated in the oldest part of the hotel building. They have a French bed and have private bathroom with shower.

Standard Double Room
The eight standard double rooms are situated in the main part of the hotel as well as in two adiacent buildings. They are furnished with antique furniture, wrought iron beds to relive the atmosphere of an antique Tuscan farmhouse. All rooms have private bathroom with shower.

Double Room with Balcony
The thirteen double rooms with balcony are situated on the first floor of the stone building next to the main hotel building. Those rooms are quite spacious and have direct access onto the private terrace, equipped with table and chairs. The furniture is in the typical Tuscan countrystyle with wrought iron beds. All rooms have ensuite bathroom with shower. Stunning views over the countryside and the valley underneath.



Superior Double Room with Balcony
The four superior double rooms are situated on the second floor of the stone building next to the main hotel building. These rooms are very spacious and bright. They have entrance door and window door leading onto the private terrace, equipped with table and chairs. These comfortable rooms have Tuscan style furniture, wrought iron beds and ensuite bathrooms with shower. From the terrace one can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view over the countryside and the valley underneath.


Suites
The suites are situated on the first floor of the stone building next to the main hotel building. They are composed of two rooms, a double room, ensuite bathroom with tub and whirlpool as well as an elegant living room with fireplace, sitting corner and wooden cupboard with a small kitchen hidden in it (fridge, kitchen stove etc.), ideal for families with children and particular needs. From the French window one has direct access onto the private terrace, equipped with table and chairs, viewing the valley underneath the hotel. The suite is furnished with elegant, wooden furniture, in the typical Tuscan countrystyle.
