From Florence

1. From the motorway A1 exit FIRENZE CERTOSA and take the highway Firenze-Siena towards SIENA.

2. Exit COLLE VAL D'ELSA and follow to SAN GIMIGNANO and from there towards VOLTERRA.

3. Drive through Volterra, continuing always on the SS68 towards Cecina.

4. Continue on this road until reaching Saline di Volterra. In the center of Saline di Volterra, you'll reach a junction, where you have to turn right towards Pontedera.

5. Continue on this road for approx. 2 km and turn right, into a dirt road (easily to drive on) that you should follow. When you reach the top of the hill, there is a farm; continue always, the road still goes a tiny little bit upwards and you'll see after a few hundred metres the farmhouse with the huge tree from the pictures on the right hand side, with Volterra in the background.

From Pisa (Airport)
1. Take the highway FI-PI-LI towards FIRENZE and exit PONTEDERA.

2. From there follow towards Volterra.

3. From Volterra, continue towards Cecina and Saline di Volterra, until reaching Saline di Volterra. In the center of Saline di Volterra, you'll reach a junction, where you have to turn right towards Pontedera.

4. Continue on this road for approx. 2 km and turn right, into a dirt road (easily to drive on) that you should follow. From Rome
1. Take the motorway towards CIVITAVECCHIA and from Civitavecchia take the SS1 towards Grosseto-Livorno.

2. Exit CECINA NORD and follow then to VOLTERRA.

3. In the center of Saline di Volterra, you'll reach a junction (right after the petrol station), where you have to turn left towards Pontedera.

4. Continue on this road for approx. 2 km and turn right, into a dirt road (easily to drive on) that you should follow.
