Description

Agriturismo Casa Rossa is a small farm, situated in the beautiful Tuscany countryside near Volterra (18 km) and San Gimignano (28 km).
The farm produces are fresh eggs, fruit and vegetables of the season, olive oil and honey. Here within such a peaceful landscape, far away from any noise, have been created 3 holiday apartments within the farmhouse, tastefully furnished according to the Tuscan country style with wooden beam ceilings, terracotta floors, some pieces of antique furniture. Furthermore, they are provided with all modern comforts like central heating, air-conditioning, satellite TV, completely equipped kitchen (toaster, microwave, electric coffee machine etc.).
 

On the ground floor of the farmhouse are the washing machine and a small half-opened lounge with pizza oven.
The farm is surrounded by a great garden provided with children's games, garden furniture, pavilion, barbecue for outside eating and the beautiful swimming pool (6 x 12 m) with whirlpool next to the pavillon. From every angle it is possible to enjoy a marvellous view over the surrounding hills. At the guest's disposal there are also mountain bikes with which it is possible to discover the surroundings or the characteristic villages around.

Agriturismo Casa Rossa is set in a quite central position, from where it is possible to reach within short time the most important places of historic and cultural interest in Tuscany. Volterra (18 km) can be reached in about a quarter of an hour by car, San Gimignano in about 20 minutes (28 km), Pisa (48 km), Livorno (53), Lucca (53 km) and the sea of the Etruscan coast in three quarters of an hour.
Florence (70 km) and Siena (71 km) can be reached in approximately one hour by car.
