Description

Castello di Fulignano is an antique fortress and country residence situated on the top of a hill in the countryside above the Elsa Valley and with view to San Gimignano Tuscany.
From here it is possible to enjoy a 360° vision of a landscape of rare beauty.
One could lose himself in the breathtaking panoramas from Casole d'Elsa over Castellina in Chianti, Barberino Val d'Elsa, the Apuan Alps, the hills around Arezzo and of Volterra.

The castle is composed of 12 apartments, elegantly furnished and equipped with all mods and cons (air conditioning, leather sofas etc.).
On the ground floor of the castle there is a spacious lounge and an antique wine cellar, today restuarant. Those who appreciate fine food and drink won't miss the occasion to savour the typical Tuscan specialities and excellent wines. A terrace bar is available to serve guests breakfast or while relaxing at the pool.

The castle is enclosed by a typical Italian garden, part with terraced olive trees and cypresses as well with a huge swimming pool, for relaxation and to enjoy the peace together with a unique panorama.
For those with passion for nature and art, this area offers a multitude of nature paths that can be explored on foot, with the mountain bike or on horseback. It is possible to travel over historic paths more or less known such as the Via Francigena, from where it is possible to view the extraordinary landscapes of San Gimignano, Volterra, Casole d'Elsa, Montaione, Barberino Val d'Elsa, Colle Val d'Elsa and Siena.
