The Ceralti winery is situated just a few kilometres fom  Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri and the sea of the  Etruscan Coast.
The farm is composed of an antique Tuscan farmhouse, in which are situated the wine cellars and 3 apartments. Furthermore there are two charming, small country cottages, one next to the farmhouse, the other about 1 km away. Ceralti has been existing for several generations, handed over from father to son. It lies between the plain and the hills and because of these characteristics, the estate is able to grow different cultivations.

Both the owner Walter Alfeo and his son have a great passion for vine-growing, encouraged also by the famous Bolgheri wine area.
At present are cultivated approximately 7 ha of land with vineyards, lying mainly in the hills between Castagneto and Bolgheri. The soil, the microclimate of the area as well as the exposure towards south are contributing to obtain a high quality product. Modern wine-making techniques transform the grapes into excellent wine. The Ceralti winery has always produced wine that was also sold loose. Today, Ceralti produces Cabernet Sauvignon, white wine Bianco Vermentino, Gran Cru Bianco in barrique barrels, red wine Rosso D.O.C. di Bolgheri.

In 1997 was produced the first Bolgheri Rosso that before bottling is aging in durmast barrels. In 1998 were planted new vineyards with Cabernet and Merlot.
On an even greater surface are growing the olive groves, from which is produced an excellent cold-pressed olive oil made of the varieties of Pendolino, Frantoio and Moraiolo.
The farm does also cutlivate peach trees that are surrounding the antique farmhouse where are situated the holiday apartments.

The closeness to the sea, (1 km), the scenery, the colours. the parfume and the taste of the countryside, offer the ideal ambience for those searching for a holiday for those in search of a holiday in peace and tranquillity exploring nature and ancient traditions. You can combine here a holiday on the seaside and in the Tuscany countryside.
On request the farm guests can participate in the daily farm work such as in pruning, binding, harvesting peaches, grapes and olives. Naturally it is also possible to taste and purchase the farm products on the spot.
It is possible to rent bikes in the nearby village with which you can discover this beautiful area by bike or simply reach the beach. It is also worth visiting the charming small hilltop villages nearby such as Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri; or to reach San Vincenzo (10 min. by car), the Gulf of Baratti and Populonia (approx. 15 min. by car), or Piombino from where you can take the ferry to Elba Island. All places in Tuscany of historic and cultural interest are ideal for day trips: Volterra and Massa Marittima, approx. 40 min., Pisa ca. 1h, Florence 1 h and a half.
