VILLA IL POGGIALE - Rooms

Villa Il Poggiale is situated in the Chianti Classico area, the heart of Tuscany, only a few kilometres from Florence. 
The villa dates back to the beginning of the 15th century and after a careful restoration were obtained 21 rooms and 2 holiday apartments, halls and drawing rooms, dining room and external spaces in the well-kept Mediterranean park as well as a beautiful panorama pool (from July 2003 on). All the rooms are spacious, differing one from the other in the wall colours and fabrics. 

The fabrics of curtains and canopies of most of the rooms come from small Tuscan hand-craft manufactures. Oriental silks were used for the rooms of the main floor and the hall. All rooms have a water cooker with tea, coffee and delicious bisquits.
Some of the rooms view over the internal courtyard with well that is quite probably the oldest part of the villa, whereas some others have private terrace. 
Great care has been taken for the decoration of the bathrooms, with particular pale-coloured tiles that were produced on that purpose in order to match with the bedroom.
