Apartments

L'Agriturismo Escaia is embeded in the midst of the soft, green hills between Volterra and San Gimingnano, 3 km away from the next road. Escaia disposes of 5 holiday apartments that are able to accommodate from 2 up to 6 people. The apartments have been furnished in the sober Tuscan country style, with some antique family peaces as well as several Alabaster accessories, made in the family laboratory  "Romano Bianchi" in Volterra. There, guests can take part on request in Alabaster workshops or it is possible to organize these workshops also directly under the open air at the farm. All kitchens are completely equipped with fridge/freezer, gas hob, all necessary cutlery, pots, plates, etc. as well as the typical Italian "moka" (kind of espresso-maker).

PALAGIO GRANDE (4+2 pers., 95 mq)
The apartment "Palagio Grande" is situated on the first floor of the farmhouse. Guests of this apartment can make us of the outside space in the carden. The apartment is composed of:

• living room with completely equipped kitchen corner, TV-Sat, dining table and sofa bed

• 2 bedrooms

• bath with tub

APPARTAMENTO PALAGIO PICCOLO (2+2 pers., 90 mq)
The apartment "Palagio Piccolo" is situated al piano terra del casolare ed is composed of:

• very spacious living/dining room with fireplace and sofa bed

• kitchen with dining table

• bedroom

• bath with shower

PALAGIO CIPRESSI (2+2 pers., 65 mq)
The apartment "Cipressi" is situated together with the apartment "Lecciatina" in the annex, next to the farmhouse. The apartment is situated on the ground floor with outside space directly in front of the apartment. The apartment is composed as follows:

• living/dining room with with completely equipped kitchen corner, TV-Sat, dining table and sofa bed (2 pers.)

• 1 bedroom

• bath with shower

APPARTAMENTO LECCIATINA (2+1 pers., 60 mq)
The apartment "Lecciatina" is situated in a kind of small tower, where it is even today possible to see the antique stones of the year 1050. Therefore, the apartment is subdivided over 2 floors. On the ground floor the living area/kitchen with sofa bed and on the upper floor the bedroom:

• with completely equipped kitchen corner, TV-Sat, dining table and sofa bed 1 pers. on the ground floor

• bedroom on the upper floor

• bath with shower on the upper floor

APPARTAMENTO CAPANNINA (4+1 pers., 75 mq)
The apartment "La Capannina" is situated on the ground floor in a small cottage, a bit away from the other buildings and near to the pool. The apartment is also wheelchair accessible, but these people should have antoher person with them to help during the move on the farmland:

• living/dining room with kitchen corner

• bedroom with chair bed for 1 person (not advisable if there is also a person in wheelchair as less space)

• bedroom with two single beds

• bath with shower, also wheelchair accessible (roll-in shower with chair, sink, WC and suitable handles, see photo album).
