The 4-star Hotel Fattoria Belvedere is situated on the top a Tuscan hill in the Southern part of the province of Pisa. 
The rooms, of which some are pratical family rooms and suites, are equipped with every comfort and subdivided over 3 Tuscan farmhouses. From here, guests have numerous possibilities to discover the marvellous nature, rich of archeological excavations as well as the culture of the places nearby.
It is possible to rent directly at the hotel mountain bikes and to discover by bike or on foot the routes of the Val di Cecina and the so called "Colline Volterrane".

Those who love the Tuscan art and culture can should visit the near Volterra (22 km), San Gimignano (37 km) known for its numerous towers and Pisa (60 km) famous for the leaning tower, which has recently been opened again for visitors, after many years of restoration to prevent the collapse. 
Also the Livornese coast, the so called Costa degli Etruschi (engl. Etruscan Coast) can be reached within just 15 minutes by car. Siena (80 km), Lucca (80 km) and Florence can be reached in approximately 1 hour by car. Discouvering the marvellous Tuscan landscape from horseback is certainly one of the most faszinating activities.

Therefore, those who have a own horse and would like to bring it with them on holiday can do this. The horse will be accommodated in the stables or on the outside grounds. 
All the year round, hotel Belvedere guests can rent mountain- and touring bikes to discover the beautiful Tuscan landscape. There is definitely a good reason why many professional cyclists, from Italy and other countries, have training in this area! Maps and guides for trips are available at the hotel reception, where one will always find useful tips. 

By bike it is possible to enjoy particularly and intensely the beauty of small roads, winding up a hill framed with cypresses, a single cypress on the top of a hill, isolated farmhouses, characteristic hamlets... For small repairs there is the hotel workshop at disposal.
During the winter time or rainy days it is possible to enjoy the fitness centre or the heat of the sauna. The swimming pool of 300 sqm with a small pool for children is the ideal place to enjoy moments of relaxation and a marvellous view over the Tuscan hills.

In this context, also children will be happy playing on the playground, table tennis, football or riding their bike.
Right underneath the main house is situated the tennis court. At Hotel Fattoria Belvedere, the day starts with a rich breakfast buffet. Coffee, cappuccino, crispy rolls, fresh eggs, ham, fresh fruit... everything the heart could desire. 
For lunch it is possible to eat à la carte in the restaurant, on the veranda or under the portico.

For dinner there is a buffet with a variety of the regional, national and international cuisine, accompanied by well selected wines. During the low season, the hotel offers numerous recreational activities.
For those who love the Tuscan cooking, Fattoria Belvedere offers one week of cooking classes, where one can learn how to prepare typical Tuscan dishes, beginning with the simple "sugo" (tomatoe sauce), over game dishes to fish. 
The guests will learn during the course everything necessary to cook later, at home, typical Tuscan dishes. 
Upon request the hotel can organize within the restaurants, on one of the spacious terraces banquets, wedding parties or other types of parties. Moreover there is a congress hall for 30 to 200 people.
