The 3-star hotel Hotel Le Volpaie is situated in the small village Castel San Gimignano about 11 km from San Gimignano in the Province of Siena.
Castel San Gimignano is a small village whose century-old city walls remember the importance to protect San Gimignano in the past.
The small hotel, surrounded by a nice, well-kept park with swimming pool (12x6 m), is situated halfway between Volterra and San Gimignano. Besides the pool, there is a gazebo with sports equipment at the guest's disposal. The accommodation with only 15 rooms is managed by the owners itself, the Sozzi family.

Inside the hotel, the friendly hall with reception, safes, a small TV/reading room, sofas, bar, dining room. The morning starts with a rich breakfast buffet that can be taken on the terrace or in the dining room. Luca, an enthusiast of music and therefore, he loves to organize music- or dancing evenings in the nice garden.
Anna and Luca put heart and soul into the management of their hotel and are always ready to give you the best tips of what to visit (places, museums, wine cellars etc.). Furthermore they furnish their guests with routes for daily trips.

The particular position of the hotel allows it to discover the beautiful nature, scattered with vines, olive trees or single farmhouses on foot or by bike as well as to visit nearby places of historic and cultural interest. Those who bring their own bike or arrive by motorbike, can park them without any charge in the garage. If you didn't bring your bike with you and would like to make a cycle tour, you can get them without paying any charge. Small pets are also welcome and you don't need to pay any charge. Not only during the summer months the San Gimignano area is an interesting destination; during the whole year there are numerous events, from gastronomic, over historic, artistic or music events.
