Description

Borgo Iesolana is situated in an antique village outside of Bucine in Tuscany, in the Chianti Region of the Province of Arezzo. 
The hamlet is situated along the Roman road that once was connecting Florence and Siena. The small bridge at Pogi, over which one passes to reach "Borgo Iesolana" is a whitness of the ancient times. 
Not far away the most important historical and cultural centres in Tuscany lie Florence, Siena and Arezzo. The farm is surrounded by 96 ha farmland, covered with olive groves, vineyards and a part of woodland. 

The Iesolana products are: 

• 2 types of red wine, of which one Chianti DOCG (Chianti Iesolana) and one aged for 12 months in durmast barrels (Folco) 

• Vinsanto aged for 7 years 

• extra vergin olive oil 

• honey (made from flowers) 

The products can be purchased directly on the farm. Furthermore it is possible to make wine and olive oil tastings. The farm represents the typical Tuscan rural structure and offers hospitality in 11 comfortable holiday apartments with al mods and cons. The furniture is of great taste, in the typical Tuscany style with wooden beams and terracotta floors. 

Every apartment has its own outside space equipped with table and chairs. Furthermore they are provided with independent heating, telephone and plasma TV and satellite. There is also a laundry with washing machine and dryer at the guest's disposal. Those who also during the holiday need to have internet connection, can make use of the wireless in the pool and restaurant area.
In the garden underneath the main complex there is a beautiful swimming pool that offers a marvellous view over the valley below. The swimming pool is surrounded by a sun deck in terracotta and with pergolas, provided with tables and chairs. 

The wine bar with adjacent terrace overlooks the swimming pool. In the bar, Iesolana guests can enjoy the delicious Tuscan specialities together with a glass of iesolana wine or simply a creamy cappucino. Here are also served breakfast and dinner. In one of the rooms it is also possible to organize meetings and conferences of any type, receptions or parties (weddings, parties, etc.). For those who are keen on the regional cuisine, there are cooking courses, where it is possible to discover the antique Tuscan recipes.  

Part of the antique hamlet is also a lake for fishing, to be reached on foot or by bike. From Borgo Iesolana it is possible to start on foot or with the mountain bike, covering 30 km of woods through a natural park, where it is possible to meet animals of any type like pheasants hares, fallow deers, roe deers and moufflons. Borgo Iesolana is also the ideal starting point to reach the most beautiful places of the Province of Arezzo such as Cortona or Sansepolcro, the Chianti Classico with Gaiole and Radda in Chianti, as well as the Province of Siena with Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino and many other places. Also Umbria and the enchanting capital Perugia can be easily reached.
