Apartments

The Bio Farm Il Cerreto has as the core structure an antique tower, dating back to the 18th century. In the course of the years were built two other farmhouses, one around the tower and the other nearby. The restauration works of these antique buildings have been carried out with exreme care, trying not to destroy the typical Tuscan environment. In totale there are 7 holiday apartments at the guests disposal. Five holiday apartments are located in the tower-building, whereas two are about 150 m away in a former school building.

The apartments have been equipped with all amenities. Some of the apartments of the main building have their own terrace, whereas the apartments in the former school have their own garden with terrace. For all the guests there is a panoramic terrace at disposal with table, chairs and sun umbrellas, where it is possible to dine or just enjoy the marvellous view to Volterra and the surrounding hills the so called Colline Volterrane.

Apartment 3 (110 m², 6 pers.)  
The apartment is subdivided over the ground and the first floor:

• spacious kitchen with sofa and large table (ground floor)

• 3 bedrooms (one on the ground floor, the other two on the second floor)

• 2 bathrooms (one on the ground floor, one on the first floor)

Apartment 4 (90 m², 4+2 pers.)  
The apartment is located on the first floor:

• spacious living-room with sofa-bed, kitchenette and large table

Rooms

The farm offers 5 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, employing biological building techniques: all materials such as plaster, lime, paints, floor wax, furniture wax are completely natural. All pieces of furniture, beds included, have been carefully chosen and are entirely made of wood, treated with natural products. Moreover, in order to provide an optimum arrangement of all furniture, a study on the geo-magnetic field of the building has been carried out, to ensure the well-being of the guests.
