Description

The farm Agriturismo Incrociata is situated within the Tuscany countryside of the valley of the river Ambra (Valdambra), in the triangle between Florence, Arezzo and Siena on the border to the mounts of the Southern Chianti Area.
The Incrociata farm, surrounded by 18 ha of farmland is situated in a peaceful setting, far away from noise and stress. Part of the accommodation is the farmhouse, dating back to the middle of the 19th century, with the reception and 6 holiday apartments. Right in front of the house, the small "Capanna" the former barn, today is composing a charming apartment.

About 300 m over the farm, there is situated the independent country house "Miravalle" with swimming pool for the exclusive use of the 6-8 guests.
Both, the apartment guests as well as the country house guests can enjoy an enchanting view over the vineyards, the olive groves and great part of the Valdambra.
The apartment guests can relax within 1000 sq.m. well-kept park with swimming pool (15 x 7 m, open from May until September), equipped with sunshade parasols, sun beds, tables and chairs.

In the garden there are also swings, table tennis etc. at the children's disposal; under the age-old shady oak trees there are wooden banks and tables, ideal to enjoy the shadow reading a good book.
For common use there are barbecue, covered terrace, laundry with washing machine and drying racks available. On the spot it is possible to rent mountain bikes (helmets available).
The villa, surrounded by a fence, has a big park with private swimming pool (10 x 5 m), a stone oven, barbecue and two porticoes. For those who love nature and long walks, it is possible to do this along the vineyards or in the wood nearby.

Nearby there is a riding school (3 km), tennis courts (5 km) and the small village Pietraviva (1 km) with a small shop. Ambra with several shops, bars and restaurants is only 3 km away.
It should be particularly pointed out that the this area is near to the most important places of art and history in Tuscany: Florence 70 km, Arezzo 30 km (well connected with the train from Bucine, 10 km), Siena 35 km, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Montalcino, Greve in Chianti, Cortona, the thermal spas of Rapolano (15 km) and many more. Also the sea with the splendid coast of the Maremma can be reached in approximately one hour by car or with the bus line.
