Agriturismo I Reucci is situated in the beautiful hilly countryside, only 20 km from Volterra in Tuscany away.
The farm is embedded between the hills, only 3 km from the next village Pomarance away, in an area of absolute peace and tranquillity with view over the ruins of the fortress Rocca Sillana (11th century, dominating the rivers Cecina and Pavone). Part of the farm are an antique farmhouse and the former hayloft, both recently restored, surrounded by corn fields that, according to the season are colored from an intense green in spring time to become golden in summer.

I Reucci has a huge garden with swimming pool on the back of the house. On request, guests can make product tastings of local produce.
At disposal to pass a holiday are typical Tuscan country style apartments, offering space for 2 up to 4 people. Each apartment has a veranda or outside sitting space, equipped with table and chairs, viewing the garden and the surrounding hills. In addition to the swimming pool, there are also children's games, table tennis, boccia as well as a barbecue available.

There are furthermore a limited number of mountain bikes available.
Apart from relaxing in the garden or at the pool, it is possible to make long walks or trekking in the surrounding countryside or to reach for example the small villages in the surroundings on foot such as Pomarance, just 3 km far, with shops, supermarkets, banks, restaurants and everything necessary for everyday life, or to visit the village of Larderello (8 km). Larderello is famous for exploiting energy in the soil through high soffiones, placed here and there in the beautiful countryside.

Nearly two centuries ago, the French François Jacques de Larderel, discovered the wealth situated in the subsoil and started with the exploitation of the geothermic enery. It is very interesting visit the geothermic museum on the spot and learning about the history of this place.
The farm is situated only 20 km from the Etruscan town of Volterra, half an hour from San Gimignano, the Chianti Classico area and approximately one hour from Pisa, Florence and Siena away. Also the Tyrrhenian coast and its beautiful beaches is only 40 km far.
