Description

Residence La Venecca is situated outside the village Fonteblanda, about 5 km from the sea of Talamone, in the beautiful Maremma Tuscany.
On approximately one hectare of land are placed four buildings, in which are accommodated 30 apartments, all equipped with great taste and equipped with all mods and cons.
The apartment types available are one-roomed flats (2/3 pers.), two-roomed flats (2/4 pers.) and three-roomed flats (5/6 pers.).
Part of the accommodation are furthermore a parking and a huge swimming pool surrounded by sunshade parasols, deck chairs and sun beds.

In the morning, a breakfast buffet is waiting for the guests at the bar of Residence La Venecca, right in front of the reception. During the summer months, outside are placed tables and chairs, thus guests will enjoy breakfast under the open sky.
The management is at the guest's complete disposal for tips about places worth visiting or for any other need, in order to render the holiday as pleasant as possible.

Fonteblanda is situated in Southern Tuscany, in teh so called Maremma, once reign of the Etruscans.
The whole area has great archaeological and naturalistic importance.
Already in 1975 was constituted the nature reserve Parco Regionale della Maremma comprising the Uccellina hills with the typical Mediterranean flore and fauna. From Talamone (about 5 km from La Venecca) are starting several trecking routes through the park, with or without guide.

Those who love the salutary spas will find them along the Via Aurelia towards south: Terme dell'Osa, with spring water of approximately 32°C, particularly indicated for the treatment of rheumatism, arthritis and skin diseases.
Their medicamentous properties were already known to Etruscans and Romans.
At the moment the spas are going to be restored, but will be soon functioning again.

Part of the numerous activities is also a unique golf course, halfway Porto Santo Stefano and Talamone, lying in the midst of the rolling hills, with sea view.
At Fonteblanda, the nearest village, one will find the most important shops as well as pharmacy, bar, post office, restaurants, pizzerias etc. At 3 km is located Talamone with beach and a small yacht harbour. Fonteblanda has also a train station and from there it is possible to reach by bus Talamone, Orbetello or Siena.
