From the highway ROMA-FIRENZE (about 25 minutes): 
1. Leave the FLORENCE-ROME motorway A1 at the Val di Chiana/Bettolle exit and take the National Route SS327 towards TORRITA DI SIENA and MONTEFOLLONICO.  

2. After about 7 km you will reach TORRITA DI SIENA. At a junction you  will see signpost of Sinalunga on the right and PIENZA-MONTEFOLLONICO on the left. Turn left and keep driving towards PIENZA- MONTEFOLLONICO.

3. When you reach the village of Montefollonico (following the sign post at the junction) and take the 5^th small road on the right (Via della Madonnina) going downhill, towards the Ristorante La Chiusa. Continue downhill and after 2 curves turn right, follow for approximately 100m the road up the hill and you will find on the left-hand side a farmhouse, continue on the road and after another view metres you will see in front of you another house. At that point follow the road downhill. At the next opportunity turn right and there you will see also a wooden sign with "Le Capanne", follow for approximately 250 m and when the road goes down again, you will see the farmhouses Mulinello and Banditello of Podere Le Capanne di Sopra.  

(**) An alternative route could be: highway exit at Chiusi-Chianciano, then go towards Chianciano, Montepulciano, afterwards to Pienza, at the junction go into the direction of Torrita di Siena and Montefollonico. 

From Siena:  
1. Go into the direction of Arezzo and the motorway towards Rome (ROMA).
2. Exit at Torrita di Siena and follow as above.
