Description

The B&B Podere Sant'Elena is situated about 2 km from San Gimignano in Tuscany.
The granary, the hayloft and the stables have been changed into a charming country lodge with 5 rooms, 1 apartment and a small annexe building, once used for farm equipment, where today one will find the reception and the cosy breakfast room with a 180° view over San Gimignano and the garden. From nearly all the rooms, the various angles in the garden and the pool the guests can enjoy a beautiful view over the Tuscan hills and the characteristic medieval towers of San Gimignano. 

For B&B guests as well as for those guests being accommodated in the apartment, a rich breakfast is included with rolls, sandwiches, croissants, cakes, jams, fruit juices etc. if possible of own production (Barbara and Gianni, the owners have a confectioner's shop at San Gimignano).
During the day, the guests can find peace and relax in the well-kept garden with swimming pool. 
Thanks to the ideal geographic position, it is possible to visit the most beautiful Tuscan towns of within short time: Volterra 30 km, Siena 48 km, Florence 58 km and Pisa 90 km.

Upon request it is also possible to rent mountain bikes or scooters, ideal to enjoy best the beauty of the Tuscan landscape.
Furthermore, one can start from the accommodation for trekking excursions.
Only 1 km from Podere Sant'Elena, there is a riding school.
In the evening, the guests can taste the local specialities and wine of the numerous restaurants of the area. Only a few metres from Podere Sant'Elena, there is a typical Tuscan restaurant.
