The Villa

The Spanish watch tower Torre delle Cannelle is situated in a quite isolated position, along the Tuscan coast within the Natural Rerserve "Parco Naturale della Maremma", a few kilometres from Talamone.
Nearby there is Fonteblanda (8 km, with supermarket, bank, post, pharmacy etc.) and coninuing further south, begins the marvellous Argentario coast with characteristic places like Porto S. Stefano and Porto Ercole. To arrive at the tower, it is necessary to drive over 4 km dirt road within the nature riserve, where you will meet rare wild animals of any kind (fallow deers, roe deers, porcupines, wild boars, hawks...).

The tower, very characteristic and of rare beauty, dates back to the second half of the 16th century and is situated within a park of 40 ha. From the house, dominating the cape and the bay Cala delle Cannelle, guests can enjoy a splendid view over the Argentario Coast and the Island of Giglio. Several terraces (190 sq.m.), all with sea view, do invite for sun bathing or very romantic candle dinners. Through a private path it is possible to go to the sea. Although the tower is situated in a quite isolated position, within a natural reserve, guests do not need to renounce the use of electrical equipment (fridge, icebox, dishwasher, washing machine, oven etc.).

Torre delle Cannelle (240 sq.m., 10+2 people) is composed as follows:

• living room with direct access to the sun terrace

• dining room with panorama terrace

• 3 double rooms, of which one with private bathroom inside

• 1 triple room with bathroom

• 1 single room with private bathroom inside

• 1 sofa bed

• 1 bathroom with tub

• completely equipped kitchen that opens onto a
  covered verandah

• basement and storeroom
