The farm holiday accommodation Le Vigne di Caldana is situated in the beautiful countryside of the Maremma Tuscany, just a few kilometres outside of the small medieval hilltop hamlet Caldana.
The small farm, just a quick drive from the sea away, with main cultivation of olive groves and vineyards, has opened in June 2005 also the possibility to pass the holiday in one of the brand-new charming apartments. ' It is the ideal place to combine a countryside stay together with a holiday on the seaside. The accommodations are disposed over 3 buildings. There are in total 8 apartments, of different type, ideal both for couples or for families.

The apartments on the ground floor have an outside space in front of the living area, whereas those on the upper floors, can make use of the several angles and pavillons in the garden. In front of the two main buildings, in a more elevated position and right underneath the vineyards, is situated the swimming pool, where besides the parasols, a century old tree offers lots of shadow. The barbecue in the garden invites you to grill their some fish or one of those delicious Tuscan beef steakes or the tasty sausages.

Guests can get relaxed in the pool or the garden and those who are more active, can take the chance of horseback riding or mountain bike trips in the nearby countryside.
The small fortified hamlet Caldana - mentioned for the first time in documents dating back to the 11th century - is just one of those charming places where time seems to have stopped. From here one can admire a stunning view over the Maremma countryside on the one side and on the other the beautiful Tyrrhenian Coast. In approx. 20 minutes by car guests can reach the seaside resorts of Follonica, Punta Ala or Castiglione della Pescaia.
