Description

The B&B Villa Lavinia is situated about 20 minutes south from Livorno in Tuscany, a few kilometres from the sea of the Etruscan coast.
The B&B is embedded in a Mediterranean park, extending over more than 4000 sq.m., with palms, pine trees and other typical plants of the Tuscan coast.
In the park on the back of the house, there is a beautiful pool and terrace with view over the typical hilly Maremma landscape and the characteristic medieval village Montescudaio.

Near to the pool, a barbecue area with huge table that is completely at the guest's disposal.
Within the bed and breakfast, a spacious breakfast room with the characteristic fireplace, from where it is possible to access onto the huge terrace with view over the park in front of the house. Here is served breakfast in summer time.
There are 6 sober, but comfortable double rooms with private bathroom, equipped with telephone, mini bar, satellite TV and air condition.

The B&B Villa Lavinia is near to the main road connections to reach the sea as well as all the art treasures in Tuscany:
Cecina Mare is only 3 km away, the long beach of Marina di Bibbona 9 km and Castiglioncello 15 km. The near characteristic villages like Bolgeheri, Castagneto Carducci or the antique Populonia (during the Etruscan times the harbour for the iron transport from Elba) invite for a visit. The Island Elba can be visited during a day trip.

The places of artistic and cultural interest like Volterra (40 km), Pisa (45 km) and Livorno (interesting Medici-channel system) can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. Florence, Lucca, Siena and San Gimignano are reachable in approximately 1 hour by car.
Due to the limited number of rooms and the particular setting between sea and Tuscan countryside, Villa Lavinia is the ideal place for your vacation all over the year.
