BY CAR

From South 
1. Motorway autostrada A1 exit Incisa Valdarno.

2. After the tollbooth turn right towards Matassino and Reggello. 

3. Turn then left towards Reggello and from Regello follow towards Pietrapiana/ Donnini. 

4. Arrived at Pietrapiana follow the road indications to Donnini and S.Donato in Fronzano. 

5. At S. Donato in Fronzano continue staight on for about 1 km and turn then right to "Fronzano 1". The entrance of the villa is after about 1 km on the right hand side.

From North
1. Motorway autostrada A1 exit Firenze Sud.

2. Go first straight on and turn then right towards Bagno a Ripoli/Pontassieve 

3. At Bagno a Ripoli, continue straight on to Pontassieve.

4. At Pontassieve turn right towards Arezzo/Rignano Sull'Arno and then right to Incisa/Rignano sull'Arno (not for the Consuma).

5. Stay on this road until reaching S. Ellero, where you should turn left to Vallombrosa/Tosi/Donnini. 

6. At Donnini turn right to S. Donato in Fronzano/Reggello.

7. After about 4 km you will find a sign with "Fronzano 1", where you should turn left.  The entrance of the villa is after about 1 km on the right hand side.

BY PLANE
Florence Airoport "Firenze Peretola" 45 min
(follow the motorway A1 towards Rome and exit at "Firenze SUD"; follow then the route "from north")
Pisa Airport "Aeroporto Galileo Galilei1h 30 min
(take the hightway "Superstrada FI-PI-LI" until Scandicci and take there the motorway A1 towards Romen; exit at "Firenze SUD" and follow then the route "from north")

BY TRAIN
From the Florence Railway Station "Firenze S.M.N" to S. Ellero. 
The train station of S. Ellero is only 10 minutes from Villa Maria away. One can reach it or by car and leave the car in the parking or by bus, from S. Donato in Fronzano (bus stop is only 300 m from the villa away. This is quite pratical for excursions to many Tuscan towns like Florence or Arezzo without using the car.
