Arrival from Milan or Bologna:
Motorway A1:
Exit FIRENZE CERTOSA. Take the highway FIRENZE - SIENA and exit at POGGIBONSI. Follow the signs towards SAN GIMIGNANO. After having passed S. Gimignano, turn left towards CAMPORBIANO (Montaione, Gambassi) and then, at the crossing turn right towards CASTAGNO, Gambassi Terme, Montaione. At Castagno at the first crossing turn left to MONTIGNOSO and then left again, always in the direction of Montignoso. Continue for 200 m and you will find Villa Montignoso on the left-hand side.

OR: 
Exit FIRENZE SIGNA, then take the SUPERSTRADA FIRENZE-PISA-LIVORNO, towards PISA/LIVORNO. After approximately 20 minutes exit at EMPOLI OVEST, turn right in the direction of PONTE A ELSA. From there go towards CASTELFIORENTINO (12 km) and afterwards follow the road directions to GAMBASSI TERME and VOLTERRA. At CASTAGNO D'ELSA turn right, following the road instructions to MONTIGNOSO/SAN VIVALDO. At the second sign for turn left and follow this road for 200 m. You will find on the left-hand side a property: VILLA MONTIGNOSO

Arrival from Rome: 
Motorway A1 to Florence and exit at FIRENZE CERTOSA. Take the highway FLORENCE - SIENA and exit at POGGIBONSI. From here follow in the direction for SAN GIMIGNANO. After San Gimignano, turn left for 2 km as far as the indication MONTAIONE-GAMBASSI and continue on the same road until CASTAGNO. At CASTAGNO follow the road directions towards MONTIGNOSO.

Arrival from GENOA:
Motorway A 12 to Florence, exit PISA SUD (Galileo Galilei airport). Take the SUPERSTRADA (highway) FIRENZE-PISA-LIVORNO towards FIRENZE. After approximately 15 minutes take the second exit of PONTEDERA (NOT THE FIRST ONE!!!). From there follow to FORCOLI/VOLTERRA and after that towards CASTELFALFI/SAN VIVALDO. From SAN VIVALDO go towards CASTAGNO/ SAN GIMIGNANO. At the crossroad turn right to MONTIGNOSO. 

Arrival from Pisa Airport:
Take the SUPERSTRADA (highway) FIRENZE-PISA-LIVORNO towards FIRENZE. After approximately 15 minutes take the second exit of PONTEDERA (NOT THE FIRST ONE!!!). From there follow to FORCOLI/VOLTERRA and after that towards CASTELFALFI/SAN VIVALDO. From SAN VIVALDO go towards CASTAGNO/ SAN GIMIGNANO. At the crossroad turn right to MONTIGNOSO. 

Arrival from Florence Airport:
Motorway A1 towards Rome, exit FIRENZE SIGNA, then take the SUPERSTRADA FIRENZE-PISA-LIVORNO, towards PISA/LIVORNO. After approximately 20 minutes exit at EMPOLI OVEST, turn right in the direction of PONTE A ELSA. From there go towards CASTELFIORENTINO (12 km) and afterwards follow the road directions to GAMBASSI TERME and VOLTERRA.
