1. By Car:  

• From the motorway A11 arriving from FIRENZE or GENOVA - PISA NORD:
  Exit PRATO EST and leave the tollgate area taking the left lane and enter the large boulevard lined with trees. Stay in the right lane, and after 500 m, before the underpass, go right heading NORTH toward the hills (V.le Repubblica). After 2 km pass through a tunnel under the railway. Go left through the large roundabout heading WEST (V.le Borgovalsugana/ Via Lambruschini). Continue straight for 2 km where the road bends right. Go right at the small roundabout (DO NOT CROSS THE RIVER) and proceed 150 m to a small piazza with an obelisk.. Turn left in front of the obelisk (Via del Palco) following this street (about 500 m) keeping to the right. Follow sign loc. Canneto to the right up the narrowing road on a short, steep hill. After the Trattoria La Fontana continue for about 2 km (Via di Canneto) to Villa Rucellai.
   

• From the motorway A1 from ROMA or from the motorway MILANO - BOLOGNA:
  Exit CALENZANO-SESTO, turn right in direction west (signs for CALENZANO-PRATO) and proceed straight ahead, always remaining on the same main road, with hills on your right and railroad on your left, and many cross roads with roundabouts (never turn left for PRATO nor right for CALENZANO). After about 5 Km on the same road, at roundabout, go straight on (not under tunnel) and continue straight WEST (V.le Borgovalsugana/Lambruschini). Continue straight for 2 km to where the road bends right. Go right at the small roundabout (DO NOT CROSS THE RIVER) and proceed 150 m to a small piazza with an obelisk.. 2. By Train:  

About 5 km (10 minutes by taxi) from the railway station PRATO CENTRALE on the railway tracks Milano - Firenze - Roma and Firenze - Pistoia - Montecatini - Lucca - Viareggio.

3. By Plane: 

15 km (20 minutes by taxi) from the Florence Airport "Amerigo Vespucci" (FIRENZE PERETOLA).
