Description

Agriturismo Villa Toscana is situated in the Val di Cornia of the Maremma Tuscany, just a few kilometres from the sea, the seaside resort San Vincenzo and the Gulf of Baratti.
The accommodation originates from the complete reorganization of an old farm, obtaining 11 apartments located in 4 different buildings, once used as farmhouse or storerooms. Around the buildings, a nice garden with swimming pool and children's playground. The comfortably equipped apartments,  are all quite spacious and bright and are composed of a living area with kitchenette, double room(s), bathroom with shower.

From the farm it is possible to reach within a few minutes by car the kilometer-long sand beaches of the coast, the Gulf of Baratti with its sand beach and the rocks, the small seaport and the famous Etruscan excavations of Populonia, to visit the nature reserves (Parco di Naturale di Rimigliano, Parchi della Val di Cornia). Close to the farm, there is also the possibility of riding excursions in the countryside. Small villages such as for example Campiglia or Suvereto, are inviting for walks in the narrow alleys, discovering the tastes of the area in the restaurants or during the village festivals taking place. In Venturina (about 5 min. by car) it is possible to get relaxed in the thermal waters of the "Calidario"-spas.

From the near seaport of Piombino (about 15 min. by car) are leaving the ferries and other boats for the  Island of Elba or the other islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. For those who love to see and to be seen, walking along the promenade, sipping a cappuccino in one of those cafès on the seafront, go shopping in the elegant Italian boutiques or have dinner in typical fish restaurants, can visit the nearby seaside resorts San Vincenzo or Follonica. The most important places of artistic interest such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano and Volterra can be reached.
