Description

The organic farm Agriturismo Zoccolino is situated in a charming and peaceful position in the Province of Pisa, not far from Volterra (15 km) and San Gimignano (25 km) in Tuscany.
In the nice farmhouse are 3 holiday apartments (for 2+1 and 4+2, for 10+5 Pers. in total) and a nice swimming pool available, from where it is possible to enjoy a charming view over the fields until Volterra.
A beautiful landscape like from a postcard and complete peace; the next small road is about 2 km from the house away.

Agriturismo Zoccolino is an organic farm of approximately 80 hectares of land, cultivated by the owner's family.
They do mainly cultivate grain and fodder, but of course they do also have a small production of olive oil and wine.
Furthermore, the farm is breeder of the white Chianina bovine, of which is made the delicious Tuscan t-bone steack, the Bistecca alla Fiorentina. Stables are out of sight from the farmhouse with the holiday apartments.

The Zoccolino farm does also cultivate fruit and vegetables, thus guests, depending on the season, may taste fresh tomatoes, watermelons, honeydew melons, zucchini etc. A henhouse (far and out of sight from the holiday apartments) does guarantee always fresh eggs.

Depending on the season, guests might have the possibility to observe wild animals (hares, pheasants, roe deers...). 

On reservation the farm offers one ore more times a week a typical Tuscan dinner in a farmhouse ambience.
Besides relaxing in the pool, it is possible to get riding lessons or to participate in excursions with horses only 3 km away.
From the Zoccolino farm it is possible to visit all the most important and well known places in Tuscany such as Siena, Florence, Pisa, the Chianti Classico area etc. all to be reached in approximately one hour by car.
